PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's leading dive training organisation. With a PADI certification you can dive anywhere in the world. At our dive school in Kamala we place the highest value on safety, small groups and a relaxed learning environment.
PADI Open Water Diver (OWD)
Your ticket to freedom. The Open Water Diver course teaches you the fundamentals of diving in theory and practice. You'll develop the skills to dive safely and independently with a buddy.
On successful completion you receive your certification, which is valid worldwide for life and qualifies you to dive to a depth of 18 metres.
Requirements: Minimum age 10 years, basic swimming ability and normal good health.
Duration: 3 to 4 days including theory, pool training and 4 open water dives.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
Broaden your horizons and gain more experience. The Advanced course has no traditional exam – it's all about hands-on learning and discovery.
You'll complete five different adventure dives, including the mandatory deep dive (to 30 metres) and underwater navigation.
Requirements: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification from another agency.
Duration: 2 days with 5 adventure dives from the boat.
PADI Rescue Diver
Become a safer dive buddy. The Rescue Diver course is challenging but incredibly rewarding. You'll learn to recognise problems before they develop and respond effectively in an emergency.
Requirements: Advanced OWD plus proof of a first aid course (EFR) within the last 24 months.
Content: Self-rescue, recognising stress in other divers, emergency management and rescue techniques.
