Frequently Asked Questions – Booking & How It Works
How do I book with Scuba Quest?
It's easy: just send us an enquiry via the contact form, drop us a WhatsApp message, or come and see us directly at our base in Kamala. We'll check availability for your preferred date and confirm the trip. Last-minute bookings on-site are usually possible until 6:00 pm the evening before.
How and when do I pay for my dive trips?
You can pay conveniently at our base in cash (Thai Baht) or by credit card. For safaris or larger group bookings we ask for a deposit in advance. All payments are transparent and made at the daily exchange rate.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Just a good mood! Since full rental equipment is included, all you need is swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. If you have them, please bring your logbook and certification card. Food and drinks are provided on board for day trips.
Are there any hidden costs (e.g. national park fees)?
Transparency matters to us: our prices include equipment and guiding. However, destinations such as Phi Phi or the Similan Islands are subject to additional national park entry fees collected directly by the authorities. We will inform you of the exact current amount when you book.
Will I be picked up from my hotel?
Yes, for our day trips we offer a free transfer from many areas (e.g. Kamala, Patong, Karon). We'll confirm your exact pick-up time when you book so you can start your dive day in a relaxed and stress-free way.
Can I book a private trip for my group or family?
Absolutely! We offer private charters for couples, families and groups – with a fully customised itinerary, departure time and dive sites. Get in touch and we'll put together the perfect package for you.
