Diving Trips - ½ Day

Your Perfect Morning: Diving & Relaxing

Short distances, maximum time underwater – discover the reefs of Kamala.

Our half-day trips are perfect for anyone who wants to combine diving with a relaxed beach holiday. The dive sites are located just max. 30 minutes along the west coast from Kamala. Your adventure starts at a leisurely 7:45 am and you'll be back by around 1:00 pm.

Every trip includes fresh local fruit (bananas, watermelon, pineapple) and cold drinking water. We typically do two relaxed dives, accompanied by our experienced divemasters or instructors.

These trips run almost daily from November to April on our traditional longtail boat, specially adapted for diving – a genuine Thailand experience!

Our boat has been specially optimised for divers: it features fixed tank holders for safe equipment transport and a sun canopy to protect you from the heat. A sturdy ladder makes it easy for divers and snorkellers to get in and out of the water.

For late risers we also offer afternoon trips on request. And for those looking for something special: we regularly organise night dives (e.g. at the Tin Mine Excavator).

Frequently Asked Questions – Half Day Trips

How long does a half-day trip take and when do we start?

We usually set off around 8:45 am from the dive center. The total duration is approx. 4 to 5 hours. As the sites are right off Kamala, you'll be back in time for a late lunch.

Is food and drink included?

Yes! Fresh drinking water, soft drinks and fresh local fruit are available on board at no extra charge.

Are the trips suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. The shallow depths and generally gentle currents at our local reefs make these trips perfect for beginners, returning divers or families.

What do I need to bring on the day?

Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen are all you need. If you have one, please bring your logbook and certification card.

Can non-divers or snorkellers join?

Yes! Snorkellers are very welcome on our half-day trips. Snorkelling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins) is included in the price. The shallow local reefs are just as beautiful from the surface.

Do you offer afternoon or night dives?

Yes – afternoon trips are available on request for late risers. We also regularly organise night dives, for example at the Tin Mine Excavator wreck, where nocturnal marine life comes alive after dark.
